Including Refreshments  with cake

Grade 2 Listed property set in 3 acres of gardens. These are designed with a Victorian theme in mind and feature a parterre, courtyard garden , greenhouses, vegetable garden., Victorian potting shed and a spring fed pond. Refreshments are included in the admission price.   

SUNDAY 22 JUNE WORTHING and PARHAM HOUSE, WEST SUSSEX   
DEPART 8.00am COST £35.00

Enjoy a visit to Worthing in West Sussex and have lunch on the pier or in any other of the eateries in the town. Then onto Parham House which dates from 1577 and is in the top twenty in Simon Jenkins book “England’s 1000 Best Houses” It is also home to possibly the finest and most important collection of 17th  century embroidery in the country. The gardens are a hidden gem with a full size Wendy house and spectacular borders Refreshments are light meals are available.

SUNDAY 20 JULY CAMBRIDGE BOTANIC GARDENS   
DEPART 9.30am  COST £30.00

The world-famous Cambridge Botanic Gardens opened in 1846. This heritage landscape has the best arboretum in the East of England. Many planted beds and greenhouses. Light lunches are served in the garden café.  

SUNDAY 17 AUGUST  BURY ST EDMUNDS,ABBEY GARDENS and FULLERS MILL
DEPART 9.30am COST £30.00

The Abbey Gardens within the walls of the former medieval monastery have a mixture of formal bedding and borders. There will be time for lunch and to explore this old town. We then visit Fullers Mill Garden which is an enchanting and tranquil waterside garden. situated on the banks of the river Lark at West Stow. It is owned and run by the charity Perennial and maintained by head gardener Annie Dellbridge. There will be time for afternoon tea.  

SUNDAY 14 SEPTEMBER   HELMINGHAM HALL, SUFFOLK PLANT HERITAGE FAIR and ARTISAN MARKET.

Visit the moated Grade 1 listed Helmingham Hall Gardens, begun by John Tollemache in 1480 and their annual Plant Heritage Fair and Artisan Market.    There are knot and walled gardens with magnificent borders. Wrights Café offers a wide range Sandwiches and other food..
