Listed black barns provide a backdrop for vibrant and exuberant planting in 8 acres. This garden was the regional winner of the Nations favourite gardens in 2021. A kitchen garden, herbaceous borders, pond, and woodland are just some of the features.   

SUNDAY 16 JUNE SANDWICH and GOODNESTONE MANOR , KENT   
DEPART 8.30am COST £30.00

Explore Medieval Sandwich, one of the original Cinque Ports on the Stour river in Kent. There will be time for lunch in the town. We will then proceed to the 15 acre gardens at Goodnestone featuring a walled garden, parterre, and woodland walks, including the famous Serpentine walk. Refreshments are available at the Old Dairy Café. 

SUNDAY 21 JULY MYDDLETON GARDENS and CAPEL MANOR, ENFIELD.

Myddelton gardens are a treasure trove of hidden oddities, and the beautifully reconstructed Victorian Glasshouses is no exception. With four climate zones you will find exotic plants from around the world. There will be time for morning coffee before making the short journey to Capel Manor. With over forty colourful gardens across 30 acre estate there is plenty to see and do. Enjoy the beauty and colour of the grounds which include walled gardens, temple lake, a cactus house and a small zoo. The restaurant serves lunch and light bites as well as afternoon tea and coffee.  

SUNDAY 11 AUGUST  GREAT COMP SUMMER SHOW, KENT.

Said to be one of the finest gardens in Kent, the wonderfully quirky gardens show 7 acres of beautiful and rare plants with a large collection of salvias all surrounding the 17th century manor house.  We visit the weekend of the Summer Festival which includes plant sales, local artists and jazz bands, with Pimm’s on the lawn. light lunches and refreshments are available at the Old Dairy tearooms. 

SUNDAY 15 SEPTEMBER   RHS GARDENS WISLEY, SURREY.

One of the gardens of the world, RHS garden Wisely is home to some of the largest plant collections anywhere on the globe. looked after by 90 staff, the garden aims to inspire and educate. The new glasshouse is a must visit along with the trial fields, mixed borders and exotic plant collections. All types of refreshments are available at the many outlets.
